Best ways to Think Opposite and Achieve BIG ?

It is said that we do not think negatively or oppositely. Here, in this context, thinking opposite is not negativity. It can be defined as awareness of the things which may happen in future or alternative solutions. Some of the greatest people think oppositely and achieve big in a different manner which most people are not aware of.
Among the most amazing failings of human knowledge is the method that we hold on to our beliefs and overlook contrary proof.
In business, in our society and in various parts of life, we build hypotheses to describe circumstances. We regularly look for possible descriptions. When we have one we have the tendency to hold on to it ferociously. We look for examples that will support it and we do not search for examples that would negate it. The brilliant thinker understands that hypotheses are working designs that serve up until tested wrong by a much better hypothesis. Newton’s laws of motion were outstanding tools for centuries till Einstein developed a more total view of deep space. Likewise Einstein’s concepts are the very best design we have till somebody discovers an imperfection in them and develops something more fitting.
Francis Bacon said, ‘The human understanding, when it has once adopted an opinion, draws all things else to support and agree with it. And though there be a greater number and weight of instances to be found on the other side, yet there it either neglects and despises, or else by some distinction sets aside and rejects.’
Stuart Sutherland provides 5 reasons people are incredibly resistant to altering their beliefs:

1. They regularly stay clear of exposing themselves to proof that may negate their beliefs.
2. On getting such proof they frequently refuse to believe it.
3. The presence of the belief misshapes their analysis of brand-new proof so regarding make it constant with the belief.
4. People selectively bear in mind products that are in line with their beliefs.
5. People wish to safeguard their self-confidence.
How do we tackle thinking about the opposite? Rather merely, we need to suspend our belief set and ask the question ‘ what if?’ What if every presumption we are making is wrong? What if the opposite of what we think is not true? What if the opposite of what we think is true? The brilliant thinker is always uncomfortable with certainty. She or he is comfortable with vagueness, with several possible explanations and with unpredictability.
